It's time for our seasonal swap and its my birthday too! What better way to spend it, than swapping and schmoozing with you?

Q: Should I bring Loren a card or present?

A: NO - your presence is my present. If you feel strongly compelled to give me something I will have a collection jar at the swap and whatever is in there will be donated to my choir, the West Village Chorale. (I also accept smiles and hugs)

Q: Is there a fee for this swap?

A: YES - The fee will be $2. It will all go to the Breathing Project, a non-profit yoga education center that must pay rent just like many of us. If you are strongly opposed to paying for a swap than please bring a refreshment of equal or greater value instead.

Q: What should I bring?

A: This is a seasonal swap. Please bring from 1-20 gently used or new women's Fall/Winter clothing and/or accessory items. Nothing with stains, holes, rips or other obvious damage please. In other words, bring items you would be proud to give a friend.

Q: What happens to the clothing leftover?

A: Although we will donate leftover items, you are perfectly welcome to take back anything you brought that didn't get swapped and keep it or bring it to the next swap!

Q: How Does it work?

A: Swapping is suprisingly easy (and astonishingly fun!). There is no "even exchange policy", just bring from 1-20 items and take as much as you want. This swap will be arranged by clothing item, not size, so we'll all be mixing up good! Hint: Early birds usually catch the worm at a swap so be on time!

Q: What if there is no one my size there?

A: Don't worry, there will be. We've been doing this for a while now and there are swappers size XS to XL in our group. If you are unsure, just come on along, bring one or two items, check it out and have a piece of birthday cake with some nice gals.

Q: Can I bring friends?:

A: Maybe. We have a limit to the bodies we can accomodate in the studio so there will be a cutoff. If you have friends who want to attend please forward this evite and have them rsvp.

A: Make friends, save money, save the world from landfill!
